Double XP

To help play­ers level-​up faster, and max­im­ise their effi­ciency, TLBB offers play­ers the chance to draw on up to 5 hours of Double XP time every week. This is an extremely use­ful func­tion, espe­cially if you find you have lim­ited play­ing time in a week, and can be used to double the exper­i­ence you and your pet receive when bat­tling monsters.

To claim your Double XP, simply visit the ‘Effi­ciency’ NPC in any of the three main cit­ies to open up your Double XP dia­logue options.

From here you may choose to use your Double XP in ‘chunks’ and take for example, 2 hours of Double XP at once, or altern­at­ively you may choose to turn on Double XP, remem­ber­ing that you must be sure to turn it off when you are done!

Once you activ­ate your Double XP allow­ance, a small timer box will appear above the Short­cut Menu Bar to tell you how much Double XP you have left.

When you log out of TLBB, you will be reminded how much Double XP time you have left in the week. Make sure you use it all if you want to get the most out of your time play­ing TLBB!

Hint: In cer­tain quests you can obtain a ‘Blue Ball of Bril­liance’, a spe­cial item that gives you an extra hour of Double XP on top of your 5 hours’ allow­ance per week. To activ­ate your Double XP time, simply right-​click on the item in your invent­ory. Blue Balls of Bril­liance may also be pur­chased from the Token Shop.
