Iron Man Challenge Prop Bets (10k guild contribution in 1 month)

Tenofblades (in game nick) was asking for some motivation to do guild contributions so we thought for fun we come up with this prop bet...

These are the rules:

start server time new day 9pm Server Time 08-May-2011
end of bet - server time new day 30 days from start.

current gc 110
needs to make 10110 in 30 days

rules

not allowed to buy guild contribution from others.
not allowed to accept guild tags.
can only make guild contribution from doing trades,construction or other guild quests.
not allowed to ask other guild members to help him get mats or quest items but is allowed to buy the items from stalls, player shops or others.
guild members are allowed to stock the player shop with quest items but not specially on purpose for the quests he is currently on.

tenofblades will place screenshot of gc when he starts and screenshot when he finishes.

Also he will sign on forums and post daily updates of his guild contribution.

tenofblades will have to respond to anyone how has placed a bet questions in regards to any queries over his guild contributions.

moderators for the bet:

I will moderate for now any cheating Ten will be disqualified and all original bets will be returned back to players.

The odds are laid at 3 to 1 for him to win the bet.

If he wins the bet. I will also give him lvl4 gem. (1 lvl3 gem for every 2k milestone until he finishes and I give him a bonus at 10k)

I will also be banker for the bet so I will take the bets on him to win or lose this challenge.

If you wish to take part below is an explaination of how the betting will work.

How it works. The odds for him to win are 3:1

a) Decide if you think he will win or lose the challenge
b) Get the gold max 100g wager for him to win, max 300g wager for him to lose.
c) contact me in game via pm/email or whisper and trade me the gold. Your bet will be recorded on the forums and it will be finalised.

Example of scenarios

If you bet 10g for him to win. If he wins the challenge You will get back 30g. (10g + 20g) If he loses you get back nothing and lose your original bet. (10g)


If you bet 30g for him to lose. If he loses the challenge you get back 40g (30g + 10g profit). If he wins you lose your original bet.

notes:

There is a cap of 50 guild quests per day however you can overcome this cap by doing construction and/or research as well as trade. I will make this clear so everyone understands.


The thread will be running updated of his score (Ten will try and update daily of his progress but not always)

He is only allowed access to a player shop for materials for quests.

Final note:

This is just a bit of fun... something to motivat Ten and I thought it be something interesting so if you want to take part you can message my ign Ninja or XX and I will add you to the list of ppl who bet for or against him.

Betting will close in a few days when we have enough bets to make it interesting to watch.

I'm not sure if mathematical is possible. There are two limits: 50 guild quests / day and 8 trades / day. So after I counted I think he won't be able to make more than 5000 guild contributions points in 30 days.

15 guild contribution / full loop (10 guild quests / NPC) x 5 loop (50 guild quests / day limit) = 75 guild contribution / day x 30 days = 2250 guild contributions points

8 trades / day x 5 = 40 guild contribution / day x 30 days = 1200 guild contributions points

Total = 3450

He won't win 6550 guild contributions points from bonuses (there are bonuses but not so many).

Hm..as i remember i used to to more then 50 guild quests a day...after doing 50 loop q, there is cooling time but i could continue later...

You can place a bet on him to lose ( if he fails to make 10k in 30 days) you win the bet and for every 3g you place you get back 1g.

No offence, but this is not a bet. Who will bet on his lost if for every 3g you get back 1g? If I bet 300g on his lost, I get back 100g, so I lost 200g winning my bet. It's a nonsense

Better check if it's possible, otherwise you have no chances. Anyway 5000 guild contributions / 30 days would be an awesome good work

Edit: Not sure about Research and Construction Quests, I think you can still take these quests after 50 loop limit. In this case would have some chances, but I'm afraid there is another limit: your city will be able to start another Research or Construction only after 24 hours after the previous one is completed (if the city has enough points to start it).

dude, u posted this in the middle of the night and he started this morning . . .when were ppl supposed to place bets? well, if i got 24h to do so, i place 150 to lose #3 and will give ninja the gold tomorrow morning if that's ok bcuz i'm real busy untill saturday if i can't give him the gold, then cancel my bet

He won't win 6550 guild contributions points from bonuses (there are bonuses but not so many).

If you dont think its possible then you should bet the max he should lose... But see my edits, it is possible.

to tho people who dont no this can be done but i tell u in hard

10 chain =26 guild point per set cant do more then 50 in 24hrs ( use to be shop fulled with all iteam for it)
resacrh and building qust u can do how much u like of them but then need to be leader / depurt to put them in
but i pernsaol done 1,500 easy in one weekend

only way he can do it to do

1000 / 30day 333.33 a day

only 163 leth to do
so that 163 rescarh .building or 65 qust if it work as chain

so 8 trade 115-213 qust per day easy pass it
